I stopped by the grocery store on Vashon(I think it is a thrifty but not sure) last week as I was working on the island. They had a nice dead wild steelhead with adipose intact in the cooler. I asked the lady at the seafood counter and she said that she was pretty sure it was caught on the island. Unfortunatly I was hurrying to catch a ferry but I will be firing off an e-mail.

That is effing sad as Vashon is such a bastion of Political Correctness-in fact it is almost funny because Vashon is so PC.

    This raises a good question:

What guidelines does a product have to meet in order to be labeled "sustainable?" From what it looks like, there is nothing saying what can and cannot be labeled as such.
