I went to a local pond on Sunday afternoon that was recently stocked with trout. I started out fishing small streamers on my slow sinking line and picked up a couple Crappie and Bluegill, but no Trout, and it was kind of slow. So I switched over to my indicator rig and I can tell you that those Panfish, along with several good sized Trout, loved the vertical presentation . Lot's of action on Micro leeches, barrel bugs, and Chironomids under the indicator. The Crappie takes were mostly subtle, with the Trout and Bluegill being more aggressive. Fun afternoon with the 4wt.
