    Thread: Benecchi 12/0, yellow
    Hackle: Hen, creamy ginger
    Abdomen: Embroidery yarn, single ply - light orange
    Thorax: Hare underfur, cream

    That one is a dandy! I also use embroidery yarn for fly patterns. Now I have to track down some light orange yarn. Look out fabric store, here I come.

    I started tying all my soft hackles with the feather tied in first as you do. I like the technique. Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks:D
