i bought an old rod off ebay purported to be a sabre #670h , when it came it had no label on the rod but it had been wrapped in 1965. the seller obviously had no way of knowing what it was but it is a very high quality rod. when i stripped off the old cork to replace it i found the manufacturers stampings of " beef-stick", "nep-tuna" & the # 528 when i get around to rewrapping the rod i want to put the correct info on. there was some speculation on another forum that this is a sila-flex rod from before browning whored that company out. anyone here recognize this info?
