Banzai FFing and VWs...Bugs & Bugs

Got out for a couple of hours this AM (0730-1030) to get a little FF time in before I tackle the trans problem in my Vanagon. Here's how it went:
Started scouting at Lion's Field. Some jumpers, small though.
Parked the VW Bug at "Pat" Carey Vista and started on the incoming tide with a sz6 blue/wht Clouser. Lots of follows, boils and short strikes. A couple of dinks to hand 8-10". Fast strips, pauses got the most interest. Pink shrimp pattern slow on bottom was mostly ignored. Sz 8 Sky Sunrise lots of follows but only one hookup about 6''. Brown-tailed Halloween Bugger with a small bead head got the biggest hit of the morning but managed to trip myself up and LDRed it without being able to ID it.*sigh*. By that time it was time to wrap it up head back home. Maybe tommorrow.
