    Hey everyone,

I just picked up a Kodiak and was thinking of adding a platform to it.

I was thinking 1/2" ply on the front portion of the boat, with straps going around the Tibet to secure it. I was going to leave a small gap between the seat and the deck for my feet.

I have no plans to use the deck in any moving water. Just for small local still waters.

    Anyone tried this?

    Have anything installed?

    Jon

Have thought about it. If you do it, please report back with photos. My main concern would be covering the wood edges so the tube couldn't be damaged.

I haven't done this, but I have used the foam pipe insulation (like a split pool noodle) for similar applications.

Could also try some PVC T-molding, or just paint the edges with PlastiDip.
