I took advantage of the beautiful day yesterday an did a little popper fishing off a Bainbridge beach. 1.5 hours of fishing just before the low slack resulted in 7-8 strikes, 3 hook-ups, 1 LDR, 1 SDR of a 15-16" (?) cuttie, and 1 11" cuttie to hand. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon

Would you mind saying where on the island? I fished down at that bay at Lynwood Center at about the same time, and it was DEAD. didn't see anything, didn't catch anything.

Salmon fisher - was that you in the white vw van? I was going to fish lynwood but didn't see much happening either so I drove down to the boat ramp at fort ward state park and walked the beach toward the park from there.
