Two years ago the night fishing was spectacular, it was a full moon and pretty warm, you could almost see without the head lamp. We caught lots of big fish of streamers and bass bugs. That is what we should plan for, I dont have lunar maps but I am sure someone does.. And within those two monthes it is likely that one weekend will be warm?

Just Curious, how do you get into Dry Falls at night. I thought the park gate closed at dusk?

We did it just fine, you just have to camp there.

I tried it several years back and the fishing was insane at night. Anything black worked! The downside was that the park ranger used his megaphone to tell me I had 5 minutes to get off of the lake or he would have my truck towed. Do you know how much it sucked to kick across that lake in five minutes in the dark?

I'd love to show up for the party. Point at a date on the calendar cause I need to get the o'l vacation request in. I'm game for either month. Chronie fishing has always done me right on Dry Falls. I've had 20 fish days on the lake. I'll use what works well. Just say no to bait or dynamite :).

Someone should just take charge and pick a date. So far it looks like the later the better. I say we should just go the first week of May.

It's also the last Saturday in April, which means Sun Lakes State Park will be full to capacity.

Hey we could do the seeps. I mean it does not have the amenities that sun lakes has but instead of one lake you have a dozen lakes and can fish for Trout even Browns !! ,Bass and hog Carp. Just a thought.

There is a large area above Sage. Just a thought. The seeps have such a varied awry from trout, carp & bass all within a fairly small area.

I think that should be the final word. Seep Lakes the last saturday of April. The sooner we come to a decision, the better.

I could do the seep lakes also. Let me know a time and a place.

I think we are starting from scratch if we want to change the locale. We need to put that to a vote: Dry Falls vs. other locales

Well it has always been at Dry Falls. The week before opening day. At least is was the last four times.
If you wait until opening day it is always crowded where ever you go.

You can't please everyone so some will always be disappointed as to the time to go. Besides this is a good base of operations. Everything else is close by. Besides it is a good place to party at.
