what is this little feller?

    This isn't really related to fishing. My wife found this guy or gal in our house. It was about an inch and a half long, bright green, red eyes, and sort of built like a hopper. I live in Humboldt county, CA.

    I believe it to be an adult female tree cricket.

    Yup, seen one almost the same on that hike to Whiskeytown falls last Sunday. They're weird looking. Good to hear from somebody from California.
