What's the deal with Banks Lake?

    I heard that Banks Lake was due to have the water level lowered 30' sometime this summer. Does anyone have any recent info?

    Next month will see a drastic drawdown. The water is at the high water mark as we speak. I've been catching nice largemouth and smallies. Enlightened caught a big walleye and crappie the other evening as we fished the reeds across from Sun Banks. They were having a music festival, so we got a little free entertainment while she chased bass and I stalked spooky carp.
