I want to get out this week and get some fishing in salt water and was wondering where i should go? I live in Seattle (beacon hill) was thinking of going back down to dash point and wondering if there still there or maybe try Lincoln park again? Just wondering if anyone has been having any luck? I have my pontoon that i can use.

    Thanks KC

Any idea about parking? I don't want another ticket.

I'd start by parking legally :thumb:

as far as LP goes, pay attention to the tides. If you're not catching fish, then fish at different times! Start paying close attention to the size of fly you're using, how much material it's tied w/, where in the elemet it's 'swimming,' etc.

To fill in slow time learn to play games like 'hacksack crab', or 'ninja kick jelly fish.'

Or you can practice the infamous Pike Street throw with sculpins.

There is still plenty of pinks around at Shilshole. They seem to all be heading south like they've been doing the last few weeks. Not sure how the beach guys are doing as I've been boatin' it lately. Seems like they've been getting a bit bigger as well (in weight, not their back). Enjoy!

I fished Shilshole today. I didn't catch any and no one else caught anything as well. Nothing to do except talk about how all the boat guys were getting fish and wishing we had a boat. haha Oh well maybe next time.

Park at Redondo ($7.00 all day permit), throw your tube over the bulkhead, jump in it and fish. Lots of pinks are still around, from there down past Dash Pt.
