headed back to Lenice on Saturday to see what it offers.
I'm keeping an open mind with my game plan so I don't come off the lake at the end of the day scratching my head saying: "well, that worked last time....."
I'll be in my olive subaru with boat on top. pulling in about 9:00
hope to see some fellow FF'ers. Hope Scott is still not stuck in his tent - that could be a bad site!!

Lucky. I get to throw a birthday party for my five year old daughter. It will be fun to see her enjoy her day but shit, there are gonna be 9 little kids decorating cupcakes in my dining room. So instead of fishing I will be renting a steam cleaner to mitigate chocolate damage to our carpet.

Catch lots, give me a report and send pictures.

Have a great time. Things are just now thawing down here. I'm heading to the Owyhee for a day this weekend for the Skwala hatch. Big browns in skinny water.

The weather is suppose to be better than the opener!! I have a shooting match on Saturday but I'm thinking of maybe heading over Sunday for a couple of days.

got a buddy who arrive in the lot this morning and said it is windy and supposed to get real windy later today (like 40 mph). He didn't even bother to unload, jumped back in his rig and headed to Rocky Ford - good move
    Way better conditions for tomorrow.
    safe travels

nice!! I just checked out the Beverly area - gonna be a good day.
ran into a guy this afternoon in Outdoor Emporium and he was going to Lenice tomorrow as well - small world at times.
one of the OE employees said his buddy caught a 25 lb brown out of Lenice this year - I really doubt that.
wouldn't that be a State record?

I don't believe it!! Not without at least some good photos to back it up. That would beat the long standing state record by two and a half pounds.

25", 25 lbs, what's the difference. According to "One Tooth" at the Desert Aire Shell, the Nunnally chain lakes were empty because of the Columbia draw down. You can always trust people who work in gas stations and outdoor emporiums.

Don't we fly fishers measure fish in inches not pounds?
