Winchester model 94

  1. I have my dad's old Winchester model 94, made in 1950, and I want to do a complete disassembly and cleaning. I know there are some reference manuals/books out there and I am watching a few on ebay, but I was wondering if anyone here had any of the manuals/books/or other reference material on the pre-'64 model 94. Not only do I want to preserve this rifle but I want it to be in firing condition, not just a wall hanger. Thanks guys!
  2. go on yahoo and type in model 94 disassembly instructions and you should get what you want.
  3. Do a "utube" search also. It's amazing how many folks have disassembly and assembly videos on there for different guns. You have to sort through some interesting morons sometimes to get what you need, but there is some good info there.
  4. Thanks for the info. Yes, there is quite a bit out there on the internet. I did just purchase a book on ebay, supposedly written and illustrated by a former employee and gunsmith named A.A. Arnold back in 1959. Hopefully it will get me where I want to go.
  5. I have a 3 book set on the 94 and you're welcome to use them, PM me...I'm in Everett.
  6. PM sent....
