Yeah, the pics look great. So many new flies...I'm going to have to get a new box.
Awesome photos Ira, can't wait to fish all the different patterns,I think a trip to lone lake in the near future!!
Next Sunday for me.
Thanks Ira for seeing this one through. Looking forward to the next.
Lone lake on Saturday...... interesting.......
Sunday, have a kid B-Day party to attend to on Saturday.
Hey, you want to use some of those flies on Lone lake in a week? Come over Saturday night and hit the lake in the morning?
I'll be in touch.
I'm up for totally breaking all the rules for this one and throwing them into skinny water (insert shock emoticon) and heading your way Saturday night.
Ira and every one I am pretty bad and very humbled. your flies arrived today and I was sitting here tying a few and also checking the forum. and wow you guys are good. I never had real lessons or tied with anyone so have had little to compare to but I'm not even in the class with you guys. MY flies are simple but usually work is all that has gotten me by I guess but I really love what came in the mail I'm sorry it wasn't afair exchange. Thanks so much for the opportunity to share with all of you.
Bob don't feel that way, I'm looking forward to fishing your flys at different lakes I fish . I hope you get a chance to fish all the offerings.I know I will be trying all, at different times and lakes.
I got mine today and I am so delighted. Most Bodacious flies! Now if I can get a day without 50 mph winds and a little moving or open water.
I am going to try to remember to take picture of fly in mouth.
Thanks all....this is great!
Great idea Blue. Pics with flies in mouths.
I got mine last night when I got home. These are such cool flies and such a variety. I was like a kid at Christmas! Thanks everyone! Rick
Agreed. Great flies by everyone
Opened my share of the goodies last night after my boy went to sleep. Great ties! I can't wait to fish 'em.
My pleasure, I'd do it again in a heart beat!
Just got the flies. Awesome! I'll have to fight the urge to string them all onto one line and drag them up and down Pass Lake.
Can't wait to see what the browns think of Blue's glorious Platte River Spider - but I'm afraid to use it until the tying recipe goes up and I can make a decent copy. Troutpocket's leech looks like another winner - I remember a damsel nymph swimming up to my boat once that looked exactly like it.
Also, I've been puzzling over ideas for a new baitfish pattern - until I saw Chef's streamer. I'm gonna have fun playing with that pattern in various colors.
Thanks guys!! Hopefully I'll soon be posting pics of these flies with their mouths full of WFF winter lake flies.
The postal service brings me no flies again today. Hey Ira, if they end up back at your place send a pm. Doug
Hmmmm? I triple checked! Very interesting. Describe for me one more time your return postage.
