53 resident coho between Connor H and i yesterday. Got to try some new patterns and even caught a fish on my first (out of 2) tube flies i have tied so far. took some on popper which was another first for me. i even took one on a tube popper which is a double first! got to the beach at around 8:00 AM and caught 2 in the first couple of casts. I have to say that i wasnt a saltwater fisherman before this but now i think im hooked. went downt today for about 20 minutes and caught 4 on my way home

I'd say that was a pretty good day...how about giving some of us home bound dreamers some fish porn next time you are out there in the thick of them? 53 in a day or 4 in 20 minutes, all pretty indicitave of fast and furious action.

Ah, youthful testosterone in action. I can almost envision you two in some sort of primal fencing match with your fly rods trying to whip the shit out of one another.

Mine is bigger, mine is brighter, mine is fatter, mine did more flips, mine took out more drag...You guys should go fishing with one of the middle aged or older fellas here so we can present another perspective to your fishing outings...how many red bulls did you drink?

went out to the same beach today. a lot of wind made casting difficult but got into a pretty big school right before dark with some glow clousers shrimp patterns
