Not sure of age but know it's an older model. Overall I'd say it's in pretty good shape. Shows some wear around edges but is missing the cover that holds spool on. Guy I bought it from (think it was a board member here) made a replacement piece you can see in picture. I used it and it held up on my spey rods. It's 4" wide and over an inch wide.
