The link I gave you was for a $99 switch rod that was rigged with a switch rod handle. No extension needed to be added.

I emailed the dude who owns/runs ARE and he said it was a single hander so I was iffy about it. I probably was just confusing in my email since the description says other wise but oh ewll.

I have their 7/8 spey and its sweet. Was like $104 or something

Thanks zen leecher. Much appreciated! I'm going to have to take a long hard look at that rod. For that amount of money it has to be considered. And if yours has been pumping for a year then it's combat tested for sure!

I told this to golfman, but I'm just looking for some way to access SRC at higher tides. I also don't want to overpower them with my 5/6 TFO, but I will if I can't find something reasonable.

Evan- thanks for the offer. I hope your rod gets home soon. BTW- your profile picture is massively disturbing. lol

Mine hasn't been "combat tested" for a year as even though I've owned it that long I've only taken it out about 5 times. I'm still working on the reel weight as it's front heavy with the Cortland Crown I'm using.
