I agree, however I figured I would ask on here first to see if someone has a pair sitting around they don't use.

Probably someone who bought them and realized that the cheap ones work just as good and wants their money back lol
They are really nice looking though.

I've often thought about buying a pair of the Able nippers for a gift, because I can't see me buying a pair for myself! They are pretty pimp!

Yeah man, just go splurge and get your own, brand new pair for $50 :) The mess to find a pair on here for $35-$40 isn't worth the value of your time. Dig deep brother and go get yourself a pair!

Or, use one of the $25 off a $50 purchase at the shop. Unless you don't get those coupons - but there are usually a ton of them floating around, for say....$30? ;)

Check out the Fiberglass Manifesto blog site. Cameron was selling a few logo-branded ones on his page.

Those Abel nippers are sweet but their base model price kinda turned me away
I ordered the Simms nippers for under $30 http://www.simmsfishing.com/shop/accessories/nipper.html
But they are back ordered from Simms a few months, seems lots of consumers are turning this route due to Abels higher prices ??
