    Yeah, I don't need it...I didn't need that extra 6 weight either.....It's an addiction, looking for the perfect fishing tools for yourself. I wish I could buy one of each a 3, 5, 6, and 8 weight and be done.....but every few years I want to know.....is there something better for me? ...... and the answer is in only trying the new or old I never tried. So I do.

    The best rod you have is the one in your hand! Rods don't catch fish. Porter catches fish.

    Jeff, you are very right, how every many you have plus one...I have more than you, so no need for the plus one.
