Put in at Ringer around 2:30, took out at Red's when it was fully dark.
Slow going for the first bit- tossed hoppers tight against the banks, with only a few smaller fish in the 8-10 inch range. When the sun dropped below the ridge, we fished some stones, with a little better success- again noting big, but more of the smaller fish. Ended up fishing EHC in tan and olive, and caught a couple of decent fish (15-17") on those. Got into a caddis hatch around Umptanum- good hatch coming off, but the fish never got really fired up.

Beautiful day on the river: not too hot, not much wind, good company. Lotsa rubber, but as far as quality nothing to write home about. Saw several other drift boats in the late afternoon/evening- hope it was some of you guys and you had some fun.
