Fished (waded) the lower end of the canyon this afternoon between Big Pines and Lmuma. Nothing on the stonefly nymph and indicator setup, nothing on the streamers, buggers, slumpbusters. Finally switched over to a large brown skwala around 3PM even though I didn't see any bugs coming off and no fish taking anything on the surface....and had three to the net in 30 minutes, as well as 2 LDRs. All fish to the net right at 16". Apparently, they're looking up. Bald eagles and deer out in force today as well.
