Yep – These rods are older than the Scotch, and a little cheaper

Here we have a fine assortment of my earlier custom works.

Posing with the 18 year old Glenlevit is a fine example of a 4 wt, 8' Cabela’s graphite rod, circa 1986. Like the Glenlivet, she is a sweet little thing. Note the refined red trim. $19 will give her to you. SOLD

Our next model, posing with the 18 year old Talisker, is a Cabela’s IM6 (1988), 2 piece 6 wt. Like the Talisker this is a medium bodied rod with a bit of backbone. She works well throwing streamers against the bank. Think the Yak. $39 will put her in your hands.

Last but not least, posing with the brawny 16 year old Lagavulin, comes the Amazon. She is a 9’6” Cabela’s IM6 (1988), 2 piece 9 wt. She is built for Winter Run Steelhead. She is full bodied and can throw a heavy sink tip without a problem. $39 will let you have her. Ya, she has been around the block a couple of times, but she still has a lot left in her.
