Well today was a half assed holiday. Lots of people were working that normally take the day off so it's a half assed day. So I also stayed home. But I haven't been out in over a month and the day time temps are in the mid 50's. So I'm going out tomorrow if the sun is shining. I like to be warm.

Spent the weekend building a larger wood steamer for making landing nets. I also got started on a rod wrapper. Great couple of days in the Woodshop.

No excuses today. Up before dawn. Fished the Chapel Hole on Skagit for a little while but it was windy so I bailed. Drove down by Finney Creek to a spot that holds salmon. It wasn't holding. Drove up walked in and fished just up around the corner from White Creek on the Sauk. No dollies to be found. Headed for home and stopped just down stream from the Suiattle and fished a little slot. Bam. 4 dollies in about half an hour. All really nice ones well over 20". Made my morning. Home by noon.
