Hi Les,
I've been reading the book, Fly-Fishing Pioneers and Legends of the Northwest by Jack Berryman and was interested to learn that Tommy Brayshaw was an artist and made color prints of coastal cutthroat trout. Do you know if it's possible to get copies of these prints anymore? Also interested in whether old copies of the magazine Northwest Sportsman are to be found anywhere that were published during the period when Ken McLeod was publisher. Any ideas? This book has really opened my eyes to the pioneers of fly-fishing in the Pacific Northwest. After reading the chapter on Enos Bradner - I found myself a copy of Northwest Angling, which I've also been enjoying.
Do you know of other older books that have been written in the Pacific Northwest that include information about sea-run cutthroat fishing? I've read the "seasonal" books by Roderick Haig-Brown - that mention src. Any others?
Thanks!
Gerry
