Holy lurkers!

Spiders or bots are programs that search engines like Google and Yahoo use to rank webpages by relevance. Basicly they go through your site by following links within those pages. Using keywords and other code called meta-tags in the 'code' of your pages helps tell the spiders what your website is about.

Scoones seems to be really good at this process... almost every search I do on google, about fly fishingrelated topics has wff come up in at least the first few pages of results.

If you want to see the code/html used for webpages. On Internet Explorer go to VIEW on your menu, and click on SOURCE. Near the top you'll see the meta tags used. It looks like just a bunch of nonsense, but after awhile it becomes like that guy on the 'Matrix'... You just start seeing a blonde, a red head.. etc.

meta name="Description" content="Fly fishing information on Washington State. A knowledge base, fly fishing foruorts, resm, photo gallery, repources, articles, maps, flows, tides, ect..."

Foruorts? Resm? Repources? :-D

Well, I know you used three fingers and were checking the words to make sure on those sentences above. And be glad you didn't take typing in high school.....full of boredom and uncreative (easy) cheating.
