I'm gonna tie up a variation of Dec Hogan's Mahoney spey-style. I'm thinking in orange/brown
I'll play if there is still room...
Both sound great to me. I'm the about as far from an expert as you can get but when I think 'low-water' I'm mainly thinking sparse pattern and light hooks in smaller sizes for post runoff fishing.
You and Eric are in and we're closed!
I'm going to use this as an excuse to build a shadowbox for taking the pics.
I'll PM everyone my address this weekend.
Thanks all, I'll do my best to make sure this is a good one!
im new to tying and cant tie any spey flies, so im gonna tie a freight train variation
I will be doing a skunk/spey variation or a "mini moal" type fly.
ok. Blue steelie dubbing, grey spey hackle and kingfisher blue wing it is!
What a cast of characters this swap has pulled in! I can't wait to see these fly photos.
I think I'm gonna do a 'red butt purple peril'. or some variation thereof. And Mumbles, who YOU talking about Characters!!
You for one! There are a lot of really good characters...
Thanks dude! :thumb: You are as well. I am excited about all these swaps going on right now. I have been a tying machine as of late. Now I'm going to need to get out and fish all of them when they start rolling in!
well i have been done with my flies for a while, but just havnt got around to sending them out yet. but they should be out this week. and again, i cant wait to see the flies. ill try and post a pic later.
I should have my Steelhead bee's (Roderick Haig-Brown style) done by the end of the week.
Thx guys. Mine are done as well. I'll start the photographs as soon as I start receiving flies.
