I hit the big THREE ZERO last week and my wonderful wife decided to sign up me up for a TU Life membership with the help of my parents, sisters, and in-laws! Lots of changes on the horizon this year including the birth of my first child, a boy! I look forward to teaching him to be a steward and an angler like my father did me.

You did it right... at that age you will pass the BEP long before time catches up to you :). I was in my mid 40's when I became a lifer. What helped was the awesome promotion they had -- a Winston BIIx 905-4 and Lamson Guru -- pushed me over the edge.
