Hey all,
I'm in the market for a soft, medium-action 4 weight dry fly rod. I'm living in an area with a lot of smaller trout streams for the next year and now I have my excuse. My 3 wt is too light for fishing smaller streamers or handling decent-sized fish and my Sage XP is too stiff for fishing smaller tippets or making shorter casts so I'd like something to fill the gap. I'd really like to try a Burkheimer rod but can't quite afford a new one. I imagine used ones don't come up for sale too often but this would be the place to find them. I'd also be interested in a giving a new fiberglass rod a shot since I've never played around with one. Other than those specifics, if you have something up my alley let me know.

Thanks!

I have a 4pce Burkie 9'6" 4/5/6 that is pretty well new. It's a deep green with green wraps, silver thread accent factory "custom" build. I had no intention of selling this rod (one of my forever favorites) but a shoulder injury means it will sit in the closet for a year before it sees water. I'd like $535 US.
PM me your email for pics if you are interested.
George
