Where does it stop? Should we be able to marry a horse? Or a child? How about a blender? You people make me sick.

Edit: better throw this on here just in case...;)

If I could find a steelhead that really stole my heart (or any steelhead), I would like to marry it.

Right after taking gnarly bong rips together--with a nice water pipe of course.

Personally, I don't care what you do as long as it has no definite negative effect on anyone else. As my Dad used to say "each to their own".

If gays really want to be legally married, I hope they realize they are opening themselves for a fight in court to get a divorce. Doesn't have any effect on me one way or the other.

You want to smoke weed in the privacy of your home and put no one else in harms way, go ahead on. It's none of my concern.

I'm sure that even diehard republicans/conservatives can agree that liberty is what made our country what it is today. That being said, liberty is not just that you have the right to do what you want, but rather its that others have the right to do what you don't want them to do.
Marriage can be done in a courtroom by a judge, it is not a religious institution, it is a civil right. The fact that we even had a vote on the subject shows how far behind the people of this country really are.

It is not for us to decide what someone can or cannot do, and the only reason they weren't able to do it in the first place is because there isn't a strong enough separation of church and state.

When individual States were repealing Prohibition, the feds had the same problem. I don't think they have the man power to send federal agents to target dope smokers in States that have changed their weed laws. If history repeats itself, the war on weed will go the way of Prohibition. .. as it should.
Several states in the east are working toward it now.

This ought to blow some folks minds...I think they should legalize all drugs. Here's the catch, the first time you break any other law because of your drug addiction, you get to choose, stop using forever or go to "Drug City". "D.C.", (kinda catchy don'tcha think) will be in the middle of nowhere. It's gated, you don't get out. You can drug till you die and we'll pay to put you in the ground, but nothing else. In the long run it will be a hell of a lot cheaper than the drug war and all the prison bullshit involved with it. If you don't care enough about yourself, why should anyone else?

Amen to that!
