Occupy Skagit Redux

#32
After all what? Asking 5 or 6 simple questions. No I'm not driving 7 hours on a work day to support an "occupy" event. Leland don't you run a retail shop? Would you take a saturday off in the first couple weeks of your 6 month season? I won't but thanks for asking.

Good luck with your "occupy" Skagit.
Direct your blatantly obvious negativity to another thread that isn't trying to fight for something good. This isn't an anarchist movement. It's a bunch of devoted fishermen making a completely legal statement about the current conditions. Take a step back and see what happens.

I stated "good luck" and the bottom of each series of questions. You must have missed it. I was only wondering the logisics of putting together an occupy gathering? I was only asking a simple question.

I most definitely didn't miss your friendly final words in each of your posts. Claim all you want that you meant well with your posts, but the passive aggressive bull shit was more than obvious.

I still love the "if you pretend to manage the state for steelhead, I'll pretend to fish for them" statement.

Count me in, looking forward to it.

So you are calling me a liar?
I think he called you passive aggressive which is a long way from being called a liar. Reading comp skills are a must when using the internet.

Come if you want. This is going to happen. We would like for as many as can come to do so.

Oh I'm chillin out just fine. Sorry to ask a few of simple questions. Toilets? Permit? Notify the authorities?

Not attacks just questions. Again good luck.
I'm thinking it's all in your context on here. And with "Good luck" in the context is the same as saying "With all due respect", usually it's not sincere. And I know, I say both myself lol. But questions you asked aren't relevant. Permits? Toilets, etc. This isn't a tournament of any sort, so permits won't be needed. I'm sure the amount of guys there will be no different then some of the bigtime hatchery holes you'll see out there during prime fishing season (I counted over 150 guys fishing Minter Creek in November, anyone who's been there can attest to size and how crowded that'd be). State doesn't put in toilets at those holes usually (unless there's a state launch nearby). Garbage? It's like anytime someone goes to the water, you pack it in, you pack it out. There should be NO NEED to have garbage cans on hand. Toilets would be nice, but at same time, they aren't there usually anyways.

And, to play devils advocate. I'm assuming he's thinking it's an actual "Occupy" movement. Which I know it's not. Or God I hope it's not. I've seen first hand what is left after the Occupy people leave. It's a pure mess. But again, I'm assuming people aren't camping out on the river bank. It's a day of casting practice.

Buzz off. People trying to do good here. Go hunt for your dog or something if u can't make it. Get negative somewhere else. U clearly have a drone to the system mentality and this legal statement may be tough to wrap your head around. I mean that money won't be made or commerce commenced, and my God, not asking the authorities for permission. Will it be anarchy? Probably not. So go to work, or whatever it is u do over there in conformist, big brother will take care of it for me land and leave this situation alone unless u have something positive to add. Good luck.
