    I like that "I lost my mojo"...lol...

nOpe haven't lost mine yet...can't expect to find a river full of fish and not fisherman..first time this year I've hit the vedder...
seems to only get busier every year and that's why I don't fish it anymore...some nostalgia fishing maybe but I enjoy what i'm doing
and if it was about the numbers I wouldn't be using any goddamn bead...I'd have my pin and roe bag on just like the 300+ guys out there
that day and everyday just about....a bad year with gear would still produce double digit fish and you can fish the whole river versus just
    swing water...

It's funny as there is always that thought in the back of my mind that I could fish so many spots more effectively with gear...but I don't
have that desire to anymore...the struggle might be great but the reward will be as well..

I fished the Vedder on Thursday. I found a bit of water to myself. It wasn't fresh by any means but I was alone. I'll be back this year. At least the Canadians seem to be nice.

weekdays aren't as bad...lots of water to spread out on...May turns fly only on the lower section, which has some of the better water...shoot me a pm if your going up again, I know that river from top to bottom, just don't fish it much now when salmon and steel...heard of some spots they are stacking up but you'll be joining the show on weekends..

I don't have any pictures, and couldn't remember the fvckfest for posting pictures here anyhow. I got a steelhead last week and one Sunday while fishing a well known river on a well known peninsula (don't wanna' offend by naming too specific a names). No beads, no plastic, no nymphs, no bobbers or bobbercaters.

I came, I saw, I did not uncase my rod... So, no runs, no hits, no errors, and no at-bats.

Sounds like you've been on the upper Rogue (or any other part of it for that matter) this past month. This is THE PRIME TIME to be on the water, but this is what we've been up against (if your a fly rodder) for the past month.

I really found your picture attachment tastless and offensive. Very surprised nobody has said anything about it. I asked the mods (jerry) to remove it, but no go.
