"Nice" wasn't the word that came to my mind, but it's your fish. If it were my brown I probably would have listed a dozen or so adjectives and "nice" wouldn't have made the list.

Congrats on your "nice" brown. PM me if you would like the list.:thumb:

  7. What fly? It seemed almost ridiculous what I caught him on. That fish had been feeding for over an hour. I'd cast to another fish that had broke the surface and while attempting to catch that one I saw this one come up a number of times. Most the time I could tell he'd come up and stop short of the surface so I assumed he was feeding on some kind of emerger. I stood there in the same spot and tried every pattern in every size i could think of. There were a few caddis fluttering on the water but the fish weren't taking them. After exhausting every plausible option I had (I tie tons of flies) I went and sat on a rock and thought about it. Tied on a size 8 version of a prince nymph and a hares ear-both bead heads and a strike indicator. About the second cast through he took the prince nymph. I've caught a lot of fish that I spotted and had to put some effort into catching but this one took the most time ever. I knew he was a good fish but have to admit when I got him close to me I about shit my britches.

Isn't that the same guy that posted a bunch of photoshopped pics a couple months ago?....I'm just sayin....

  13. AGwhatever your name is...photo shopped photographs? Where and why do you throw that comment out here? Everyone on this board is obviously into fishing. We catch a good fish and share a picture or two. I enjoy pictures put on by others and like most, hope that if I keep after it I can catch a few good ones too.

To say that your comment pissed me off is an understatement. Those of us on this board or off the board that put in the time and effort like myself get rewarded with good fish from time to time. If you want to be an ass hole go do it somewhere else. It's a good fish caught while fishing with a good friend. Great fish, great day. If you'd like, I can post you some other photos from this year. Where do I start.....I've spent 58 days on the water since October 1st. Do you want me to start with one of the 32 steelhead I put in a net this year? How about one of the 4 chinook salmon I caught on my fly rod (in IDAHO) in July or how about another of the 50 browns or rainbows OVER 18" I've caught since April?

I think you need to shut your trap and go catch yourself some fish....right after you sign up to post with your name instead of hiding behind some dumbass moniker. JIM KAISERMAN
