I just wanted to know if there are any good creeks and small rivers on the west side of the mountains that are ok to fish right now? I've only been fishing for little under a year, so any help would be great.

You are pretty much limited to the forks of the Snoqualmie above the falls this time of year. Your copy of the regs will tell the tale. You can also read them online and there is a link on this site.

Where are you? there are creeks all over the place but not all open year-round. Little Deschutes R. in Olympia is open year-round and not too bad for Cutthroat.
