Make sure to hit the good runs for at least 1-2 hours, rowing or walking the boat back up to the top. If there is a bank angler already fishing, just do not make eye contact. If they question why you are fishing through in front of where they are, just ask them, "why are you all butt'hurt". After catching fish, make sure to handle for 10-15 minutes so everyone can get a hero shot of the fish. As other boats go by, make sure to act upset if they go by on either side of the river, or down the middle, it is your hole after all. You also need to find at least three other boats to allow the whole party to fish together. That way you can leapfrog and tie up at least two-three miles of river. Montana plates a must in WA. Also try to stay in the boat launch loading as long as you can so nothing is out of place. Hope this helps you on your way to getting Orvis Endorsed, or hooking up with the outfitters that want to help limit boat traffic (unless it is their boats).

Vancouver Island has Brown Trout naturally reproducing for many years in the Cowichan River river that also holds Steelhead and salmon, and they seem to be getting along.

Very interesting dynamics at work there.

I'm sure you'll bring Steelheading in WA to the Next Level. Forget nymphing or swinging and do what you do best; Trolling.

    Rule 1: Spey is ghey.
Rule 2: Backtrolling an intermediate sink tip line with a egg sucking leach is a legit way to cover lots of swinging water that's out of the reach of bankies.
Rule 3: Make sure to include a "complimentary" Wild Steelhead Coalition membership in your fee so the attorneys can keep up the good fight.

Hey @Swimmy I mocked up some uniforms for you and your clients to wear. I can do $25 a piece if you order in bulk.

Sorry guys but I've been busy tidying up some loose ends.

Great news, I found an investor who is ready to help me chase my dream....my Dad! Who would've thought we'd be business partners?? He is really smart with money and I think he sees the potential.

To get started, he's agreed to help with a new truck and insurance but I have to pay for gas. I don't mind though as I like having some skin in the game.

I still have a long way to go. But we don't grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges!

I’m thinking a portable steelhead themed bikini espresso stand would be a better investment.

Swimmy in a bikini would be disturbing, but if that's the way you roll.......

And don't forget to decorate your drift boat during the holiday season. It's those extra touches that draw new clients and keep bringing-back old ones:D!

    Breakfast burritos too.

I hope your dad has included a substantial budget for stickers on the new truck. Nothing says guide like a 4' fear no fish sticker...
