    Wow I just listened to the open fly pod cast about this subject. And to be honest I have never fished for steelhead and didn't know that hatchery fish where so bad and why but it did a great job of explaining it. I think a lot of ppl do understand that they hurt the wild fish in that system and very few return so we as taxes payers spend a lot of money to hurt what we are trying to save which is dumb!! But this was a great read!!!!! And I hope more ppl come to understand what needs to be done and why!

    What...you can't "extrapolate" from those numbers?

    I wonder how many "other" scientific studies, that have been used by certain groups to relay "their message to the masses", use this very same methodology?
