I have recently come to the realization that I'm going to have to sell something to get my fishing license for this year. In that I thought I ought to keep my burial plot, I'm offering up a 7 foot, 3 piece, 4 weight bamboo rod/reel outfit. It's one of my earlier builds, and while it's not up to my present day standards, it's still an entirely functional rod. The metal ferrules separate with a friendly "pop." The reel is an Orvis Battenkill Barstock II and is in "as new" condition. It's loaded with backing, a WF4F line & furled leader. The outfit includes a homemade rod sock and Orvis zippered reel case. The rod is made from component parts from older bamboo rods. It has been stripped, refinished and re-wrapped. I need $150 shipped and insured to the CONUS. Local pick-up would also get a metal rod tube. The reel, backing & line alone retail for more than what I'm asking so it would be like getting the rod for free. E-mail, PM or call (509) two-nine-zero, five-six-eight-six and ask for Joe. Thanks for looking.
