This batson is a 1087 switch rod. I have not been able to post rods on here lately because they have all been spinning blanks but now I got to get back to the Fly. With guides I used SS316 Stainless single foot, the reel seat is forecast RA7 skeleton with the Graphite/Gray insert and the cork came from batson. I wrapped this in Pro wrap Fern 537 and silver trim. I hope you guys like it and have a safe and happy holidays :thumb:

Very nice job. I like the tipping and pattern for the wraps.

    Thanks LD
I was going for a simple and clean thread wrap to bring out the marbling. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out :)

Nice Job, Matt. I built the same rod last summer, it was my first build. It was a kit my wife bought me for Christmas. Mine turned out ok, but in comparison, yours is a masterpiece.

BTW, I really like fishing this rod. It is my first switch rod, I like the versatility.
