Fishing was great yesterday. Bluebird weather and cooperative fish.
Showing dead fish on a flyfishing site. Ohh......
They might be dead, but they sure are tasty!
Nice job on the Kokanee Denny.
Those aren't fly rods in the boat.
Bob: Nope. My fly rods were on the other side of the boat. But at the lake we were on, Merwin, it doesn't matter what you use. Although, I do fish with a barbless fly there alot. And I do fly fish Coldwater Lake alot also with flies that I tie. Some of them are 58 years old and still are holding together. It's just that now I fish several ways. Sometimes I fly fish which is when I always do C&R, and at other times I use other methods and once in awhile keep the fish but not always. And thank you Paul for the compliment. They really are tasty on the barby. Yep, Caveman, once in awhile you'll see some dead fish on this sit from me.
Eat them, and dont worry about it!
What time is dinner? Looks like the makings of a fine meal.

I need to make the trip down there.
Thank you Peyton. Yes, the kokes are very nice in that lake. They averaged 13 to 14-1/2 inches and were real deep fish which is quite good for this early in the year. We were able play 20, but 5 came unbuttoned while we were trying to get them to the net. We also released 3 smaller ones to get bigger we hope, and brought home 11 for the barby, and missed 3 more when they hit I think. All in all it was a special day on the water. I'm looking forward to getting back up there soon.

I still long line, but i need to make use of the DR too.
Hey Purist it's ok to eat fish you have caught Legally
It was not any intention to cause any ill feeling towards anyone. I fly fish alot, but I have also discovered there are other ways to catch fish too. I was just sharing a teriffic day on the water with anyone who might appreciate it, and I am all for sharing the joys to be had on the waters of this beautiful land of ours.

Wow..... Isnt this a flyfishing site? Washington lakes has a site to post non flyfishing catches. Whos the Douche Bag... Thats real intelligent.
I am grateful the owner of this site isn't narrow minded or lives in a cave.
