My house. Always try to serve up something good and building a cool place to chill in the garage too. Its coming together nicely with a ping pong table on the way. Gonna do a get together soon with ribeyes on the menu.

I am severely addicted to Roost, the hip fried chicken joint in Main St. Better than Ezell's but no signed Oprah posters.
I used to like the Dunkin Donuts at Sloatsburg rest area on the NY thruway, day or night.

Conquer. We always stop on our way back through.

Yup, where I do most of my "stopping" for grub. Just at "My house", not yours. LOL.

But my mancave will only be a fishing cabin. No pool or ping pong tables. Just some flytying tables and misc.

    For a mid-day break/lunch - my tail gate!

Smoked kokanee (some of the best smoked fish in the PNW), crackers, cheese (maybe a pepper jack), apple slices and a cold beverage; dinning large! Suspect that lunch and not my company is why folks look forward to a day in the field with me.

The little red cooler on the tail gate of my Pickmeup truck. The one with the bologna and yellow mustard on dark rye bread sammishes and the snickers bars and apple. Oh yeah, a cold soft drink also.

I have eaten there but it was several years ago. Good burgers. Nothing really special about them other then they were fresh made, good ingredients all around. Place could have changed hands since I was there last.

I like the old burger dive bar in Fall City. Can't remember the name, but it's right where Rte 202 turns 90 degrees to cross the river.

To be fair - The two times I ate at Birdsview I was coming out of the woods after after long hikes through the North Cascades. 5 or 6 days of freeze dried and I'm beyond ready for some real food. Still - pretty good burgers and onion rings.

Evan, actually it's a few feet from there: Last Frontier Saloon (so western sounding).

We will often stop at the Snakepit on the CDA river. The buffalo burgers with steak fries then a scoop of huckleberry ice cream does just fine.

For the Skykomish crew . . . those funky old school buses in front of the Reptile Zoo between Sultan and Monroe actually have some of the best BBQ I've found in the state. A couple from Texas operate the joint (can't even remember the name) and it's worth a stop on the way home. Or the taco wagon directly across from the Monroe prison on main street - great tacos and burritos.
