Nice fish...did you get a weight??

OK...here is my big fly, big fish story.

Years ago, in Idaho, I am fishing two rods out of my canoe. One rod has a size 16 nymph, the other rod has a size 2 leech.

Both rods get a strike at the same time. Like a any quick thinking individual I pick up the rod with the leech and set the hook into a 10 inch fish.

The fish hooked to the size 16 nymph comes out of the water and throws the hook.

He looked to be about eight pounds.

I'm thinking 10-11lbs. I didn't weigh it but that would be a close guess I think?

In that case it must have been 20 or 30lbs:)

I just glanced at it and saw the yellow and I assumed it to be. I guess I made an ass out of myself. Well it's not the first time for it.

It takes more than that to make an ass out of yourself. But to answer your question, brown trout taste better than bows.
