My son and I were over hunting for Pheasant West of Pullman. While the pheasant were far and few between we did run into this guy. Very cool sighting for the both of us.

That's pretty cool. I've only seen moose twice in all my time outdoors. They are impressive creatures.

I've seen a few (including one in Pullman proper), but I never set eyes on a bull. I have to say I am pretty jealous.

    Thanks for sharing.

A few weeks ago I was hunting wheat stubble out by Saint Jhon and saw a black wolf. I guess you see all kinds of things when chasing birds.!

The scariest encounter I've ever had on the water was coming face to face with a huge bull on a tiny stream. I very nearly shit my diggers when I watched his pupils dilate five feet away. Even having a big bear try to get me wasn't as nerve racking.

It was cool. We saw him from the road. Felt safe enough still in the truck.

He stayed in the same thicket all day. We then went back the next day to see if he was there. He had moved on to a ridge directly behind a farm house. I tried to get a picture of what would look like his silhouette standing on the roof of the farm house. But he was some what uncooperative when I asked him to smile and say cheese

About a month ago there was a cow and calf at the ski area above Chewelah Washington.
