    wow, ive yet to even begin tying stuff like this but i must say that is absolutely beautiful. very nice!

    Eunan, yes BEP, I've never found anything that looked as good, and I tried a lot of different hackles, even tried splitting goose and turkey. Have you read John Shewey's Spey Flies and Dee Flies? It's a great book on the subject and some beautiful patterns, also a lot about there history.
