Was up on Whidbey for a wedding this weekend and thought I would try my luck at Bush Point Saturday. Arrived right after low tide, word from the bbomb chuckers was that it was slow, and that proved to be an understatement. Didn't see one fish caught from the shore for the few hours I was there. One person in a boat drifting the current landed one, and that was the only action I saw. The current was moving super fast, and there was tons of salad in the water which made it nearly impossible to fish. It was at least nice to get out for a while, while the gettin' was good, but no action for me yet I also tried at Ebey's Landing on Sunday for a few, with the same amount of success. Just thought you should all know, better luck next time!
