Playing around with some squid patterns.
Nice squid Jack, great flies. I have a feeling Kelvin will be adding to this thread sometime soon. Did you make your big tentacles or buy pre-poured that way?
Made the tentacles. They are fragile and don't last too long but I like the looks. Only fished this fly once in October at Port Townsend. Took a nice silver but I'm not sure if he hit the fly because it was a good squid imitation or because it was shiny and movin' fast. I suspect the latter. Will try them this year.
I like that too. We don't have squid in Montana. Might still have to tie one

Making your own rubber tentacles...wow! That's really getting into it!
