Casting practice/tuneup, anyone, Green Lake?

I find myself in the unfortunate position of being laid off and having time during the day. My schedule doesn't always allow me to go fishing, but I can usually find time to do a little casting. This awesome weather we've been having just gives me the itch . . . so I'll be heading down to the Green Lake casting pier in the near future to fling a line or two.

Anyone up to getting together for a little casting? Let me know, and we'll try to coordinate.

Richard

PS You folks that are planning trips that require 8 weight and larger rods, it's get those kinks out now or learn to haul properly BEFORE you start strolling across the flats or get up on the deck of that flats boat. The number 1 gripe of warmwater guides: their clients can't get the fly to the fish (can't cast).
