I was tempted to post this in the classifieds, maybe I should, but I wanted to keep that board clean/strictly ads.

So how do I lock a thread? I read the directions, but I can't find the "administrative: drop-down. I found "thread tools" which allows me to delete, but not lock.

Also, can you still rate a buyer/seller after a thread has been locked? Is there another way to do that?

Hover over the thread tools to view the drop down. See the box with a checkmark next to Open? If so, uncheck the box. Now it is no longer open!

Alex, I'll be coaching Sat and playing Sun.

Tkww, looks like the right place but not a full drop down. Unsure.

tkww, I think I've found the setting that held you back from the option. Please give it another go and let me know either way how it goes.

    Chris,

That didn't change anything for me. (I'm using Firefox, not that that should matter, but just throwing it out there.)

Okay... Deleting your thread / ad is your only option at the moment. It's going to take more than flipping a switch to resolve that.

Of course that's going to limit your ability to rate someone when the ads been closed. I'll look to open the option to close your ad and when that's available, remove the delete option so transaction feedback will be available ongoing. I doubt it'll be available soon, though.
