I was bored so I brought up the Spokesman Review newspaper online, they have quite an article in the outdoors section on Columbia river sockeye that are dying off do to warm water. Can't get the link to stick on this forum but it's a interesting read, sounds like more closures may be coming.
I'm surprised this isn't getting more attention on this forum. This is real deal stuff right here. I'm already gearing up for the apocalyptic pre spawn pink death toll that will most likely happen. Burn me, but I'm all good with not eating apples this year. Just sayin...
I talked with a biologist last year that spoke of a poor return of sockeye on the lake Washington / Cedar river system, Fish at the locks not making it to the river. Me wonders what's up?
"it's not nice to piss off mother nature"
I for one give a shit.
Climate change is a real deal and there ain't a lot we humans can do about it. So, go fish for bass.
