    I remember that sense of satisfaction after helping someone overcome a hurdle like that. It will carry you through some of the toughest days.

    Great post. Makes me think about how I work over the last few years to get my dad out fishing. He's not blind, but is losing his hearing (pressure damage to his ears from years ago as a young submariner), and losing his mobility. He can't stand for hours (or sometimes even minutes) in the boat like he used to. But it's great to be on the water with him, even if he's just watching.

    Thanks for the story.

    You know I don't know which of you got the most out of that trip. I know your client enjoyed himself, but I think he gave you an experience that will never be forgotten.
