Flys went out this evening. I'm waiting on Chris to open the gallery and I'll post the flys there, until then they will be on this page.

I want to thank everyone again for participating in this swap and great job on all of your flys. I'll be catching crappie within the next two weeks.

Got mine in the mail today they look great.

I actually tossed atomic dogs and eyejugglers into my fly box that I am taking to hawaii this weekend, I think the panfish of the sea will enjoy them just as much as crappie :D

Got mine today! What a fun and very high quality collection! Each fly is very well tied and they all look way fishy! A most excellent swap, thank you for hosting, Sean_K, you kept it lively and timely. I owe you some postage, thanks for covering for my error.

Sweet! Please post a TR, sounds like a great time and a perfect escape from the awkward weather of a PNW spring :)

I was surprised by the small size of the flies. My size six looks like a monster along side the other flies. However I know my fly will certainly catch crappie, caught hundreds on that fly. Very well tied flies - excited to try them out!

I was thinking the same thing. I was a little worried about the size of my baitfish, but crappie have some surprisingly large mouths on them. Plus, I've caught bluegill on full size clousers before, I don't see size 8 hooks being any trouble. They all look fantastic, I can't wait to get them wet.

Size seems less critical for such aggressive fish like Crappie, heck you should see the size of the flies I chuck for SRCs. All these flies are great!

I will say I was a bit surprised as to how small some of these flys are however, I have no doubt every one will catch some crappie. I'll be out next weekend tossing some poppers, looking for the top water bite.

If anyone of you are ever in the south sound and want to meet up for some crappie fishing shoot me a PM and we'll link up.

My fly was originally designed for SRC. Modified it for crappie. Was trout fishing in a lake for trout and came across some crappie. Only thing I had that I thought would catch crappie was this SRC fly called the "Wet Spide". I used it and caught lots of crappie that day. Modified the fly a little with a marabou tail and some red, and have caught lots of crappie with it. I bet it would work for SRC too.

I got mine. They look fantastic and I can't wait to try them out.

As for the size. I always tie crappie flies relatively small for the main reason that i like to use my 1 & 2-Wt (the 2-Wt being only 5 ft) rods and they just turn over easier for me. Which could also just be a result of sub-par casting... I think all the flies in the swap will fish nicely.

Great job guys! Thanks Sean for running a fun swap.
