Looking good Micke!
Where is your town located? My Father is from Hudiksval, I've been there twice but it was 35 yrs ago.
I miss a fish when I test it yesterday for the first time bawling:
My town is Härnösand and there I live called Viksjö a little village whit 450 people in is 3,4 mile from the town.I have fish near Hudiksvall its called Knoppe a little pond
Hudiksvall -viksjö 131 km you are welcome to sweden
Nice looking fly!:thumb:
One of the largest trout I've caught was fooled with a damsel nymph that looks similiar to yours! A rainbow of 11+ pounds.
nice! i'm gonna have to tie me up one of those to try.
is that brass chain link for the eyes?
Nice looking damsel!!! :thumb:
Micke, those damsels look great, looks like very soft material that will give a lot of action in the water as it swims. I'd hit it for sure.
Here is the recipes on my damsel fly pattern
Hook streamer 6-12
Tail: olive rabbit hair
Body: olive dub
Rib: round gold tinsel
Wing: rabbit zonker strip olive
eyes: bead chain eyes size medium
Hackle: olive rabbit hair rapt around the hook
